RuPaul's Drag Race - Drag Con Extravaganza
We’re back baby, we’ve missed a few weeks but let’s focus on this week’s episode! So this is the second time Monet’s been in the bottom two, the lip-sync was so sad, I really like Mayhem and I thought she would go further, but I’m really glad she was safe. The funniest thing was Asia going in on Monet, when she said ‘your talent was in the bottom two’, I almost screamed my head off. Onto the mini challenge, Sitting on a Secret! The queens were blindfolded and had to sit on mystery items, I always wonder whether Ru tries to make the mini challenges as random as possible or if they’re supposed to predict what the rest of the episode is going to be about. Not sure if we’ll ever know, but it’s entertaining as fuck!
So Asia comes out as the winner so I immediately thought it must be a team Maxi challenge and she’s going to pick the teams but I was wrong! So it is a team challenge, the queens have to put on their own Drag Con and do panels on hair, body and face. They’re split into groups but this time they can choose on their own, which made me cringe so hard, it’s hard watching people not get chosen. Luckily for Monet, Eureka snatched her and Kameron up making the oddest team ever but it wasn’t like anyone else was in a rush to get them on their team. So here are the rest of the teams:

As a whole, this wasn’t one of my favourite challenges. Even the groups that did well, made me cringe a bit so I did skip quite a bit of this episode. However, I think we can all agree that team Hair was a train wreck, they were so so bad. Miz Cracker is hilarious and some of her digs in the past episodes were so funny but when she tried to do it in the challenge, it was just horrible. If I was Blair, I think I would have to double check with her and Vixen that we didn’t have a problem! I can’t even remember if Blair said anything in the challenge. Team Body ended up winning the challenge, which I get but I wish Monique would have been in the top as well, she is so funny! It’s so weird that she hasn’t won a challenge yet but I’m sure she’ll be top 3.
The theme for this week’s runway was Hats Incredible! I was so proud of Monet’s runway, she did have one of her itty bitty wigs on but she looked amazing! Her, Asia, Aquaria and Monique were my favourites. After the deliberations, Eureka wins this week, becoming the first person to win two challenges and in a row. Blair and The Vixen are in the bottom two as expected and The Vixen wins the lip-sync. It was really bittersweet because I adore The Vixen but I was so proud of Blair being able to talk about her trauma and how she uses it to try and spread positivity. I really hope she knows how inspiring she is and how many people she’s going to help just by talking about it.
We’re down to 8 queens and next week is the episode we’re always waiting for, Snatch Game! I bet anything that Eureka’s character is going to be someone who’s funny just because they’re fat but we’ll see!

Side-eye moment: Vixen saying Miz Cracker was going to be in the bottom two, she knew damn well it was going to be her
