RuPaul's Drag Race - PharmaRusical Rucap
We’re back once again with another Drag Race episode! In true drag race fashion, our main challenge this week is a lip-syncing extravaganza, would it even be a real season without it? Before we get into that, can we please talk about this Aquaria and Miz Cracker moment for a second. One thing I cannot stand is when someone wants to start drama and chat shit but cannot back it up! In last week’s Untucked, Aquaria was telling the girls all about her supposed ‘rivalry’ with Cracker and how she copies her and needs to talk to her about it. THEN she had the opportunity to talk about it with Cracker and somehow turned it into ‘someone said’ moment so I was so happy when The Vixen shut her up and said what really happened, literally became her number one fan in that moment.
Moving on, we get a country-themed mini challenge, with Andy Cohen! The girls had 20 minutes to get into their best country drag and had a hoedown because apparently RuPaul is a country star now? Of course, Asia and The Vixen win because they’re amazing dancers, so they’re the team captains for the maxi challenge this week.
The maxi challenge this week, the girls must lip-synch to a parody of Pharmaceutical adverts. The teams are:

Right off the bat, I’m not sure if it’s just the editing but Eureka seems so annoying, I don’t know how Asia didn’t give her a little slap with all of her stupid questions. I was getting annoyed just watching up then the best thing came along to cheer me up, Alyssa Edwards! I feel like we haven’t seen much of her since All Stars 2, so it was amazing to see her choreograph this week’s challenge! Watching them practice with Alyssa, I would have thought Asia’s team had this in the bag, everyone was getting the dance straight away, except Kalorie but there’s always one. Instead, The Vixen’s team demolished them, this show hardly surprises me anymore but the way they won was so strange! Asia’s team, with the exception of her, Dusty and Yuhua, completely bombed. Then their runways all seemed to be the same, bodysuits, bodysuits and more bodysuits.
So now after deliberation, our winner is The Vixen! I always love an episode where I agree with all of Ru’s decisions, the bottom two are Kalorie and Eureka, for a second I thought she was going to try and start some drama and put Monique there but luckily, she didn’t. The lipsync was so much better than I thought it would be and as much as I don’t like her, Eureka killed it. Literally within a few seconds, you could just see that Kalorie was going home. It’s only episode two and the right person went home? Must mean that next episode something bad is going to happen!
Funniest moment: Aquaria had the best line of the episode by far: “The key to doing well in this challenge is keeping your lip-sync straight, your choreography gay and your characterisation bi-curious”
Side-eye moment: Aquaria trying to pretend that she didn’t say Miz Cracker copies her looks
Winner (in my eyes): The Vixen did do an awesome job with her team
Bottom Two: Definitely the right two were in the bottom
