Fenty Beauty Haul & Review
I’m finally ready to talk about Fenty Beauty! This is the first time I’ve been so excited for a celebrity’s makeup line, as soon as it was released, I knew I was going to spend some serious cash. There was so much (well deserved) hype around Fenty Beauty, especially when the advert came out and it gave us more diversity than the beauty industry has given us in the last few years. The foundations were the stars of the show, probably the best range I have ever seen from a brand, the very few times I have gone shopping for a foundation, I have always left disappointed because I either couldn’t find my shade or I had to leave with something a bit lighter or a bit darker and hope it would be fine. It was been so amazing seeing so many WOC be so excited for this brand on social media, there is literally a shade for everyone! Katie and I ended queueing for about 2 and a half hours (we also spotted a wild Simon Cowell), and it was so so worth it!
I went in wanting 2 products and came out with 4, 3 highlighters and a contour stick! I got 3 of the Match Stix in Espresso, Rum and Yacht Life and my favourite thing on the whole planet right now, Trophy Wife (swatches of the products below)! The packaging impressed me straight away, everything was so aesthetically pleasing, I love the way the Match Stix are magnetic and the Killawatt highlights have a holographic reflection!
Espresso
For the longest time, I have had an issue with contouring, I just don’t get it for some reason. I know it creates shadows and helps to give cheekbones and what not but I could never do it well enough and all the products I’ve found use are either way too dark or it’s grey. I’ve been using an eyeshadow at the moment saw when FB was finally released I saw this as an opportunity to finally try a proper product! The makeup artist we had was amazing, the experience I usually have is they try to push products that they know don’t suit you but he seemed to really care about how the products looked on us. It blended so beautifully and I am so excited that I got it!
Rum
Highlighting is always my favourite part of doing my makeup. I’m not a subtle highlighter, I like my highlighter to be seen from miles away! Rum was an obvious choice for me as gold highlighters look amazing on every one and after Trophy Wife, I thought it was the prettiest highlighter there. It blends out so perfectly and it works great as an eyeshadow as well!
Yacht Life
The unexpected purchase! The makeup artist swatched this on Katie and I thought it looked amazing, it was an iridescent pink with gold in it and I knew I had to have it, the swatches really do not do it justice. I used it as a blush at first, which works but it also works as a highlighter too! Just like Rum and Espresso, it blends out perfectly and there’s no fear of overdoing it with
Trophy Wife

Now for the finale, the highlighter I’ve been waiting my whole life for! Everyone seems to either love or hate this highlighter with no in-between and I adore it. The colour is kind of scary so I get why people are scared of it, it’s very gold-yellow, probably more on the yellow side and in my eyes it even reflects green. Like the Match Stix, it is very easy to blend, if you happen to put too much on, you can always blend it out and it can still look beautiful. The only difference is that while the Match Stix are more shimmery, Trophy Wife and the other Killawatt highlighters are more glittery so sometimes you may end up with a bit of glitter on your face but I don’t mind. I think some Youtubers went a bit crazy with this highlight in some of their reviews but I think it’s so easy to use and looks incredible!
If you haven’t realised already, I love this brand and all the products I bought, I literally do not have a bad thing to say! They’re so versatile, you can use the Match Stix as eyeshadow, you can add them to gloss and create a new lip colour, you can literally do anything! Fenty Beauty is amazing because everything feels so high end but theyre not as expensive and they’re so creamy and easy to blend that you can use them everyday for work or school. If you want to pick up some products, the Match Stix retail at £21 each and Trophy Wife was £26, apparently Fenty Beauty is stocked up for at least 2 years so you won’t have rush to the website to purchase anything unlike other brands!
If you can’t get enough of Rihanna’s products, the holiday Galaxy collection launched on October 13th and includes the Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette, Starlit Gyper-Glitz lipstick, Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter, Eclipse 2-in-1 Glitter Eyeliner and the 2-Way Eyeshadow Brush!
