Nip+Fab Glycolic Pads Review
I have become such a huge fan of any skincare item with Glycolic acid in it! I tried the Nip+Fab serum which had 4% of glycolic acid it, has really helped with making my skin less dry even with this heat! I was really interested in the Glycolic fix range so I picked up the Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads, the range itself seemed a bit expensive and I hate wasting my money on makeup or skincare so I thought I would try one product at a time.
The pads are soaked in 2.8% glycolic acid which is a small percentage of glycolic acid so I didn’t have to worry about this breaking out my skin or being to harsh as the serum which has a higher percentage didn’t at all. The pads have two sides, one for exfoliating and the other side for cleansing:
So the pads claim to retexture and resurface skin whilst the witch hazel helps to tone. It is also meant to make the skin look brighter and smoother, make pores smaller and be radiance boosting. I was surprised it didn’t have a strong smell, I thought it would smell very acidic, but it’s actually very subtle and you probably wouldn’t even notice the smell unless you purposefully sniffed the pad (which I did just to make sure there wasn’t anything to moan about)!
The exfoliating side is very gentle, you can feel it exfoliating your skin but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to remove your face. My skin is quite sensitive but it didn’t feel irritated after this at all, the pads leave your skin feeling a bit sticky but quite soft so when I put the serum on afterwards, my skin feel amazing. The tub includes 60 pads so this product will last me a while, I have been using around 2 a day every other day and I still have more than half left. My favourite thing about these pads is that I can actually see that they’ve made a difference with my pores, I haven’t had to use a primer for weeks because my pores are much smaller than they were when I first started using this product.
You can by the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads for £12.95 at Superdrug which works out at around 21p per pad, which isn’t too bad! I would definitely recommend buying the Glycolic Fix Serum as I feel like they compliment each other very well and they’ve both made such a different to my skin!
