Netflix Shows To Binge On This Bank Holiday
The weather forecast for today predicts cloudy skies and rain which is annoying if you’re one of the lucky people who get to relax this Bank Holiday Monday. So why not use today so binge on some great Netflix shows? Here are 6 shows that you should be watching (if you haven’t already become obsessed with them):
Riverdale
Based on the characters from Archie comics, Riverdale is a teen drama/mystery which focusses on the mysterious death of the football captain. The series follows Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead (who also narrates the series) as they try to solve the mystery.
RuPaul’s Drag Race
If you’re not watching this show then you are seriously missing out, think America’s Next Top Model but with drag queens! There are 8 full seasons with season 9 still going on, so you can enjoy fabulous looks and amazing lip syncs all day long!
Arrested Development
Probably one of the funniest shows I’ve watched, I miss it so much! It follows the dysfunctional Bluth family who were once rich and are trying to get back on top. It’s one of those shows that has critical acclaim and a cult following but for some reason struggled to bring in viewers so it was cancelled on Fox but then Netflix picked it up and new episodes were released. Season 5 will premiere in 2018!
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Another one if you need a laugh, five friends try to run an Irish bar and things constantly go wrong for them. If you love watching shows about a group of people who run into trouble every episode (through their own fault), then you need to watch this show!
House of Cards
If you love shows like Scandal then you will love House of Cards because it’s basically Scandal on steroids. There are 4 seasons on Netflix which all have 13 episodes so enough to keep you entertained for a whole day, plenty of time for you to catch up for season 5 coming out May 30th!
Jessica Jones
The best Marvel show in my humble opinion. It follows Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, a superhero trying to rebuild her life as a private investigator. If you’re a fan of Marvel films, I highly recommend watching this if you haven’t already, not only is Ritter amazing as Jessica but David Tennant makes for a very convincing and terrifying villain.
