Register To Vote - General Election 2017

Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote on June 8th and with the General Election fast approaching, those of you who like to leave things to the last minute need to get a move on!
The BBC England Data Unit found that the number of non-voters exceeded the number of votes cast for the winning party in more than half of UK constituencies in 2015.The Electoral Reform Society said many people feel their vote does not count.
More often than not, there won’t be a party that you are 100% behind and are passionate about but if you feel strongly about keeping a particular party from winning, then vote against them! How many people must be regretting not voting when the news that Trump had been elected came out?
Some of the policies we’ve seen in the Labour, Lib Dem and Conservative manifestos may seem far-fetched to a few of you but they will affect so many people. Let your voice be heard, if we don’t like the current narrative of the government, we can change it but we need to vote!
Read the parties’ manifestos and decide which one you think would improve your life and the lives of those around you. If you’re going to be out of the country on June 8th then register or a postal vote or vote by proxy. Please register today and vote on June 8th.
