Garnier Green Tea Mask Review
I have been a huge fan of the Garnier Moisture Bombs for ages now, I even did a review of the original Moisture Bomb mask which you can read here. I’ve been buying them religiously, especially the original one just because it does exactly what it says it can do. When I use the masks, my skin feels so soft afterwards, I can even feel the difference for the next few days! The original mask and the Chamomile mask (the pink mask) are very similar, the only difference being that the pink one is more for dry and sensitive skin. I could definitely tell there was a difference as my skin didn’t tingle at all with the pink mask, it just felt really hydrating.

The Moisture Bomb Green Tea has some of the same claims as the other masks like being super hydrating but it also claims to help mattify skin and make pores appear less visible. The price put me off the mask a bit, it was £2.99 so a bit expensive for something you’re going to use only once, but I just happened to have that in change that day so I thought why not!

So the mask felt just like the other two did when I put it on at first, this one didn’t make my skin tingle either but it did feel strange. Usually when I have the masks on, I can go about watching TV or doing work but for some reason, I just kept thinking about when I could take this mask off. When I took it off, my skin did feel soft but it didn’t last long at all, in fact the next day my skin felt really dry again. As soon as I saw the word mattify, I knew I probably shouldn’t get this mask but I thought because of how wet the masks were it would be alright and I’m a sucker for anything with green tea in it for some reason.
If you have oily or combination skin, I would recommend this mask as my face did feel pretty matte after using it. I didn’t see any difference with my pores though which was disappointing as my pores have been huge recently so I thought this would help for a bit but it didn’t work. I have been using Nip + Fab’s glycolic cleansing pads which are supposed to be amazing for pores so I will do a review on that in a few weeks!
Even though I wasn’t a fan of this particular mask, I will definitely keep buying the other two, maybe I’ll wait for the price to go down a bit because £2.99 for one tissue mask is still a bit crazy to me, especially when I got used to just paying a pound!
