Skincare Routine For Dry Skin

I’ve always found it difficult to keep to a skincare routine, I end up either going to bed too late and forgetting or waking up too late so I don’t have time to use one. Up until now my skin has been pretty good, just a bit dry but no major breakouts, however it all changed recently. My skin has been so terrible lately, probably to do with the fact I haven’t been eating well for a few weeks now, haven’t had time to get any exercise in because of work and drinking 2L of water a day has become a myth!

But now, I’ve finally gotten myself back into a routine! After reading loads of skincare haul posts and reviews, I headed to Boots to get some products to fix up my skin and they’ve worked! Having dry and sensitive skin means that trying new products can be really hit or miss but these products have really helped to clear up my skin:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Scrub

Nivea Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash for Dry & Sensitive skin

I’m always wary of facial scrubs because they have a tendency to break me out so I use this once or twice a week depending on how much makeup I’ve worn. I will say that it’s done wonders for the pores around my nose! I use the cleansing cream twice a day, everyday and it smells so good! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and I will definitely be buying it again once it finishes.

Botanics All Bright Radiance Concentrate Serum

Garnier Moisture Bomb (for Dry & Sensitive skin)

Right after cleaning my face, I use the garner moisture bomb tissue mask basically whenever I can get my hands on one or once a week if I remember to stock up. You can read our full review of it here but just know it is amazing! I didn't think there would be a different with this one but my skin definitely feels softer for longer. After that I use the Botanics serum before I use moisture and I swear since introducing a serum into my routine, my skin hardly ever feels dry!

So that is my new skin routine! Obviously it’s not just these products that have improved my skin, getting back to the gym and drinking a good amount of water everyday has helped a lot. However, they’ve helped to keep my skin feeling soft and not a irritable as before. If you also have dry skin I would recommend giving these products a try and please comment below to let us know if you do!
