Ebay Series: LA Girl Pro Concealer
Concealer is a very important aspect of makeup for me as one of the main things I want my makeup to do is cover my ridiculously dark under eye circles. Finding you shade in concealer nowadays is a task in itself so imagine how happy I was when I found out about the LA Girl Pro Concealers last year which have almost every shade under the sun! They were so cheap as well, I remember getting my first one for around £1.99, but they retail at about £3.99-£4.99 now due to their increasing popularity, which still isn’t all that expensive when you compare it to other ones. However when you suddenly find yourself out of concealer and a click on eBay seems a lot easier than going to your closest Beauty Base.
As soon as I used the concealer, I noticed that it’s texture was a lot different than the one I had bought at Beauty Base, it was a lot more liquid whilst the Beauty Base one seemed more grainy. Other than that, there were no other major differences, it still blended really well (with a damp beauty blender) and didn’t crease that much when I set it with banana powder.
The price obviously is (kind of) an advantage, I bought the eBay concealer for £2.95, not a major difference in price but still better. I’m always weary about buying makeup online, especially foundation, concealer and mascara, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it but it is a quick fix for when you run out unexpectedly and you either can’t get to the shops or like me, you just can’t be bothered! I would recommend definitely knowing your shade before buying one online, nothing more annoying than spending money on something you can’t return or use for anything else. Also double check the seller before buying, luckily I found a good one but always make sure when you’re buying something like makeup on eBay.
