Christmas Playlist 2016
Welcome to Day 6 of Milk's 12 Days To Christmas, all about Christmas songs! To be completely honest, I haven't been feeling that Christmassy and it feels like it's come so fast this year but there are certain songs that I can't help playing and I even listen to them all year round:
1+2) All I Want For Christmas Is You & O Holy Night - Mariah Carey
Queen of everything Christmas, there might be a law that states that it's not Christmas unless All I Want For Christmas Is You is played at any time! I listen to these two songs every Christmas without fail and I love how Mariah sings O Holy Night, her voice is so beautiful and powerful, I listen to this song all year round as well.
3) DMX - Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
Do I even need to explain why this made the list, probably THE best version of this song (except maybe Destiny's Child).
4) Jackson 5 - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
This is just one of those classics that has to be played every Christmas. Anyone who works in retail knows or remembers having to listen to the same christmas playlist over and over again and I hated every song except this one for some reason.
5) Boys II Men ft Brian McKnight - Let It Snow
I will admit that this isn't a song I would listen to all year round but it's so beautiful and I love listening to it especially if I'm feeling down during Christmas, can Boys II Men even make a bad song?
6) Destiny's Child - 8 Days Of Christmas
After both the Mariah Carey songs mentioned above, this is my favourite Christmas song, I feel like its one of those songs you can play randomly during the year and no one will even question it because it's that good.
