These staples are perfect as if its too warm the shirt can obviously be worn on its own and when it gets chilly, they can layered! Plus if your work's dress code isn't too strict you can get away with wearing colours that aren't black, white or grey.

Shoes

Unless trainers are allowed where you work, they're usually a no go when they come to workwear so comfortable shoes are the way forward. Loafers are not only comfortable (if you get the right size and break them in) but they make any outfit look that much more put together. But if you have to wear heels, chunky ones are the way to go, they looks great and they're easier to walk in, win win situation.
