Drag Race All Stars 2 - Snatch Game!
*Spoilers ahead*
So before I get into the episode, apologies for the post being so late, starting from this weeks episode the post will either come right the day after or two days. now onto last weeks episode, my favourite from all seasons, Snatch Game!!
So theres no mini challenge this episode because of snatch game so straight away all the queens are excited, getting ready and telling Ru who they're going to impersonate except Adore. She's basically walking around looking all sad until Ru goes to talk to her where she admits that she doesn't think she belongs and she wants to leave. Now usually when something like this happens on a reality show, I get annoyed because other people would want to be in their position and blah blah blah but then time it was just really sad. You could tell how Michelle's comments from the first episode had really gotten to Adore and even after having a little heart to heart with her, she still decided to leave so now there are only 8 queens left which is a shame but the show must continue right?
So after all this talk about Phi Phi changing and wanting to show that she's not just a bitch, what does she go and do, she starts being a bit of a bitch. She goes around basically planting seeds of doubt in people, she tells Alyssa that she's worried about her Joan Crawford impression but it doesn't really seems to faze Alyssa but it completely works on Roxxxy. She's preparing to impersonate Sofia Vegara but because of Phi Phi she decides to change and do Alaska (which is rubbish) so her plan basically works. Maybe after being in the bottom three the first episode, she decided that being a bitch works better?
Now onto Snatch Game and here's who everyone is impersonating:
Phi Phi = Theresa Caputo (the Long Island Medium) Katya = Björk Alaska = Mae West Detox = Nancy Grace Alyssa Edwards = Joan Crawford Tatianna = Ariana Grande Roxxxy = Sofia Vergara (changed to Alaska) Ginger = Tammy Faye
Long story short, Ginger, and Phi Phi are funny but just alright compared to everyone else, Alaska and Katya are absolutely amazing and are literally killing Ru with their answers and jokes but Detox, Tatianna and Roxxxy struggle and basically look terrible compared to the others. I was so sad for Tatianna because her Ariana looks so on point and the voice was hilarious but for some reason she just wasn't being that funny and you can already tell that her and Roxxxy are heading for the bottom three. At the runway, the theme is latex extravaganza and my favourite looks were Katya, Detox and Alyssa, I also thought Tatianna looked beautiful but the judges weren't feeling it. Katya and Alaska are on top as expected and Tatianna, Roxxxy and Detox are at the bottom, so I'm thinking well whoever wins the lip sync, they have to send Roxxxy home because even though her and Tatianna did badly in the challenge, Roxxxy was miles worse but Alaska ends up winning and who does she send home, my fave Tatianna!
I was really rooting for Tatianna to make it further, her and Katya are my favourites but apparently there may be an opportunity for one of the eliminated queens to come back, so fingers crossed its her. So looking forward to next episode, hopefully Katya stays on top and Phi Phi goes home because I'm tired of her to be completely honest.
