MICSOF: Episode One Recap
The Made in Chelsea lot are back and once again we the lucky audience get to watch them enjoy themselves in yet another holiday location, yay us! This time, the group, minus Lucy, James, JP & Rosie (and anyone else I’ve forgotten) are sunning it up in the South of France and as usual all their drama from London goes along with them. So let’s sum up the main ‘storylines’ from Monday’s episode:
Louise
Probably one of the most confusing characters to me, does she want to find love or what? The last time I watched MIC, did she not turn down Matt in an effort to fix things with Alik AND did she not say that her and Alik needed to spend time together to get their relationship back on track? But now all of a sudden it looks like she's about to get set up with yet another newcomer, Lukas (who they all thought was gay at first but he wasn’t). I’m still completely surprised that Alik still wants to be with her considering that she’s cheated on him 3 times(?), I don’t condone cheating by any gender, even though on a show like this it is usually the guys doing it, but maybe that’s why Louise doesn’t want him anymore, but either Louise is probably one of the people I like the least on this show and I don’t pay that much attention to her anyway.
Steph and Tiff
It might seem like I don’t like many people on this show, I do, just this episode they seemed to focus on all the ones I hate! Steph especially, she reminds me of those girls who, once you decided you didn’t want to be friends anymore, went around telling everything you told her to other people which is essentially what she ‘threatened’ to do to Tiff. So this episode Louise and Binky were basically telling her that if she wanted to be friends with Tiff again, she should just apologise, but in true Steph fashion, she also wanted an apology, for what you ask, no one actually knows. So these two had a chat, obviously not before those awkward MIC camera shots of them silently looking at each other, and it would seem like everything was resolved but then Tiff told Sam, that she still doesn’t trust Steph (whilst also accepting an invitation from Steph for a girls day out or something) so obviously there’s still going to be drama between them.
Jamie
I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a person on tv as much as I dislike Jamie, I even preferred Spencer to him! I think the thing that bothers me the most about Jamie is that he pretty much does the same thing every season, he tells a girl that he really likes her and wants to be with her, then cheats on her, then gets upset when someone calls him out on it as if he didn’t do anything! At least Spencer owned up to the fact that he was a bit of a dick. So obviously he’s done something similar again, Alex Mytton basically told Olivia and Jess that all the boys had gone out and had brought girls back and a girl had ended up in Jamie’s bed, shocker. The worst thing about this is I’m pretty sure in the last season Jamie got with someone whilst begging Frankie to be his girlfriend but anyway she then comes to surprise him so I’m assuming next episode’s gonna be a bit mad between the two of them but to be honest, they are the couple I care least about.
Bouille and Olivia
Finally people I like!! I don’t know what it is about Bouille but I love him, it’s probably because he’s a bit weird and if you remember ageeees ago, he was the only one to stand up to Spencer and actually tell him that his cheating ways were basically a bit shit. So anyway, Bouille has asked Olivia out and I don’t know why but I like her too, again probably because she’s a bit weird but I hope something nice and cute comes out of this and neither of them do something stupid to mess it up.
Even though I love to complain about this show, I genuinely do like it, I have this thing about shows that are so bad, they're amazing and MIC is one of those shows. Cannot wait for next episode, seems like if you didn't already think Alex is a scumbag, you will now. Till next Monday!
