Cappadocia, the 'Best British Kebab Restaurant in South London' 2016


Turkish restaurant Cappadocia in Kingston upon Thames has been awarded the Best British Kebab Restaurant in South London in 2016.

The traditional turkish cuisine served at Cappadocia has tantalising flavours, using fresh ingredients and aromatic spices that make each dish of high quality.

Dining at the restaurant, you will be able to experience the authenticity of Turkey, with the vibrant collaboration of European and Asian interior and decor, as well as the friendly and relaxing atmosphere created by the welcoming staff.

A traditional Lamb Doner kebab at its finest, you can almost taste the smoke of the charcoal grill from the speed roasted lamb, which is served on a bed of freshly baked bread. With a generous side of salad and bulgur, almost similar to couscous or rice - this Doner Kebab is nothing like the one from your local Kebab shop.

The Turkish Tea is offered in a small tulip shaped glass, which is one of many Turkish traditions. This refreshingly delicious beverage is served extremely hot, made from imported tea leaves, which are slowly brewed to a boil. Recommended to be enjoyed with Baklava, Cappadocia offer an invitingly appetising range of desserts.

The Baklava itself is beautifully crafted, made with layers of fresh filo pastry and finely ground nuts, and finally coated with a succulently honey sweet syrup.
