Fergie's got MILFs!
Fergie has unveiled her new video for "M.I.L.F. $," starring cameos from celebrity mums: Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Chrissy Tiegen, Alessanda Ambrosio, Gemma Ward, Tara Lynn, Devon Aoki, Angela Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana, Amber Valletta, and Natasha Poly.
The Colin Tilley-directed video is set in a fifties sort of looking neighbourhood and opens with a "milfman" driving around looking at all the "Milfs", which in this case stands for Moms I'd like to follow fyi, on his route.
The video came under a bit fire, because of a shot of Kim Kardashian-West where her waist looked almost impossibly tiny to which she make sure to let everyone know that she was actually wearing a corset and it wasn't photoshopped (pictured below).
While I do understand everyone's worries about the video possibly promoting a certain body type that isn't achievable without plastic surgery, which I totally support anyway you should be able to do whatever you want to your own body, I really commend the message of the video as people often judge celebrity mums whenever they do decide to be sexual in any way. People need to remember that being a mum is only one aspect to a person, obviously if a woman wants to just be a mum and not be sexual that is her prerogative but to those that do, they should be free to do whatever, they are grown women after. It also begs the question of why celebrity dads don't face the same about of scrutiny that mums seem to but thats a debate for another post.
"M.I.L.F. $" will feature on Fergie's upcoming LP Double Duchess, her first solo album for almost a decade since The Duchess. The single is available on iTunes. Watch the video below and let us know what you think of it:
