Poland vs Portugal
Portugal have reached the semi-finals of the European Championship after Ricardo Quaresma scored the winning goal after Jakub Blaszczykowski's shot was saved by Rui Patricio.
Robert Lewandowski had put Poland into the lead in the 2nd minute but Renato Sanches equalised for Portugal and with no goals after that, the game went into extra time and then penalties. Portugal have reached the last four without winning a game outright or in extra time with no other side getting this far in a European Championship without winning a match inside 90 minutes. This is the fifth time Portugal have reached a Euro semi-final, they go on to face Wales on Wednesday.

Wales vs Belgium
Wakes have created history and smashed 2nd best team in the world, Belgium, 3-1 to make it into the semi finals! They came from a goal down to beat Belgium at Euro 2016 and reach the semi-finals of a major tournament for the first time. Radja Nainggolan put Belgium ahead but Wales captain Ashley Williams equalised for his team with a header from a corner. The Welsh fans then blew up in celebrations when Hal Robson-Kanu put them the lead and Sam Vokes sealed the match with a header which means they will now go on the face Portugal with many calling the match a duel between Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. Wales manager Chris Coleman had described the last-eight tie as Wales' biggest match since their 1958 World Cup quarter-final defeat by Brazil, their only previous appearance in the knockout stages of a major tournament.

Germany vs Italy
Germany have reached the Euro 2016 semi-finals after winning probably the most bizarre penalty shootout against Italy in Bordeaux. Mesut Ozil put Germany in the 65th minute and they looked set for victory until a moment of madness from Germany defender Jerome Boateng after he handled the ball unnecessarily, allowing Leonardo Bonucci to score and equalise for Italy. Both teams failed to score during extra time and so for the second time during the quarter finals, the match went to penalties. Even though Germany missed more penalties in one shootout than in their entire history, they were still able to defeat Portugal. Germany will now go on to play France!

France vs Iceland
France are through to the semi finals in style after annihilating Iceland 5-2. With two goals within 20 minutes of the match, Iceland's fans looked defeated as France extended their lead with two more goals and all before half time while their team played valiantly on. Iceland were able to get two goals back through Sigthorsson and Bjarnason after half time but it wasn't enough to stop France from scoring one more just to seal the deal. France will go on to play Germany!
