Nyx Lip Lingerie review
NYX Cosmetics are a popular American beauty brand and one of their most highly anticipated lipsticks lines is finally here in the UK, the Lip Lingerie lipsticks!
The line is described as ‘seductive’ with a plush matte finish. The line ranges from, “colour-kissed nudes, cinnamon pink and chocolate brown, to warm mahogany red and classic nude beige.”
Beauty Mark – Fudgy cool brown
Bedtime Flirt – Rosy cinnamon
Honeymoon – Cool grey brown
Ruffle Trim – Dusty peach
Teddy – Warm chocolate brown
All the shades were incredibly easy to swatch and after applying one coat, the formula only took a few seconds to transform to a soft, velvety matte.
These lipsticks are very comparable to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams as they’re not completely liquid and have a more mousse like texture. They’re also very easy to apply and dry very quickly to a matte finish but are still surprising velvety without being sticky.
I absolutely love these lipsticks, the only criticism I can think of for these lipsticks is I wish the doe-foot applicator was a bit wider as it would make using the lipstick faster but it’s not that big of an issue. I was really disappointed that Exotic, a beautiful mahogany red, wasn’t available online, but I’m excited to purchase more of the collection.
