London's Winter Destinations

Winter Wonderland

It seems like a really obvious suggestion but I highly recommend going, whether it be with the family, some friends or as a romantic afternoon/night out, I guarantee you’ll have a lovely time and it will get you into the Christmas mood. It runs from 20th November 2015 to 3rd January 2016 and has many attractions like the ice skating rink, the magical ice kingdom and the giant wheel!

Southbank Centre Winter Festival

The Southbank centre holds a variety of different events from Tuesday 27 October 2015 to Sunday 17 January 2016 so there’s something for everyone. From Christmas themed Burlesque and circus side-show entertainment to a Bump Roller Disco that offers both family-friendly skating and club nights on the weekends!

Somerset House Ice Skating Rink

The rink runs from 18 November 2015 - 10 January 2016, skate here with your family, friends or other half with the beautiful Somerset house as your backdrop. You can skate during the day and improve your skills at the Skate School or skate at night where they host exclusive club nights! Somerset House also has extras such as Champagne & Chocolate Truffles, Wine & Fondue for Two and more if you’re feeling fancy.

Winterville, Victoria Park

The Christmas carnival runs from Thursday November 26 to Wednesday December 23, there’s ice skating, craft Christmas markets, plenty of family-friendly activities and a tent with a variety of comedy, cabaret and club nights. Also this year Winterville hosts a new mini golf course and 'The Winter Night Garden', where festive films will be screened.

Your local Christmas market

They are always a great place to support local venders and buy unique and homemade festive decorations, treats and toys. Nothing says Christmas like mulled wine, shopping and carollers.
