Vigil held for victims of Paris terrorist attack in Trafalgar Square
Hundreds gathered in Trafalgar Square today to pay their respects to those killed in a terrorist attack in Paris yesterday.
Candles were lit for the 130 killed and hundred more injured in the attacks in Stade de France, Petite Cambodge restaurant and Le Carillon bar, Rue Fontaine au Roi, Bataclan concert hall, Belle Equipe bar and Boulevard Voltaire.
The attacks were described as an ‘act of terror’ by President Francois Hollande.
Mourners sang the French national anthem ‘La Marseillaise’ and ‘Aux Champs Elysees’ by Joe Dassin to pay their respects.
The identities of the attackers are yet to be discovered.
